New Leadership. New Direction.

Each person has his / her own opinion about topics and issues that are of concern, but everyone I've spoken to from District 57 is in agreement about one thing: The unemployment rate must be addressed immediately. To lead the state in unemployment quarter after quarter, and year after year, is unacceptable.

"OK, great Mr. Fry … so what are you going to do?" My plan is straight-forward. I want to meet and listen to as many citizens as I can. I want to hear what they have to say, and discuss ideas. After meeting and listening to the citizens, I want to construct a definitive, thorough plan that will benefit everyone in District 57. This plan will include input from everyone, and will offer realistic and "workable" goals for the district.

On my first day in office, I will take our plans and ideas to the appropriate committee chairperson in the House, and will present them personally. I will also request a meeting with the Governor and her economic team within my first week in Columbia, and present them with the same information.

I also plan on immediate meetings with other legislators from surrounding districts (Dillon, Florence, Horry, etc.) to establish a regional alliance that will work and vote together.

Marion County is a great place to live -- there are a lot of great people here, and I feel they deserve a representative in Columbia who will stand up and get our area of the state recognized. The issue this election season will be selecting the best person to go to Columbia to represent you for the next two years.
